About The Position

Dream Summit Industrial is looking for a Building Operator who is ready to work hard and understands the importance of excellent customer service. Requirements

3-5 years of experience in building maintenance
Experience in an industrial/commercial/office/retail Real Estate environment
A valid and clean Class G driver’s license
Completed BES Operator Class I certification
Familiarity with safety and fire codes and WHMIS procedures
Above par computer and communications skills

Responsibilities

Carry out and/or supervise preventative maintenance and regular inspections on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems
Complete tenant service calls such as changing lights, heating/cooling calls etc. in a safe and professional manner
Oversee the appearance and safety of the properties
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions/recommendations
Oversee contractors and ensure they abide by contract guidelines and project timelines
Respond to emergency after hours calls as required
Communicate with Property Management on building and tenant issues regularly
Maintain maintenance and daily logs of equipment including meter readings
Maintain keys and locks register
