Under the responsibility of the Operations Manager, the building Operator is responsible for the maintenance and proper functioning of the buildings assigned to them.

Requirements

  • Have at least a high school leaving diploma.
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional studies certificate in building maintenance, an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Daily operations of buildings.
  • Manage critical equipment and infrastructure.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Be responsible for building operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of systems, equipment, and buildings.
  • Establish strong tenant / manager relationships for smooth operations.
  • Be the primary contact for tenants to respond to all their requests.
  • Manage incidents, compliance with protocols and standards of the company and the industry, security and the technicians operating the buildings.
  • Ensure systems are maintained or upgraded in accordance with industry best practices and manufacturer’s recommendations to prevent or quickly resolve system failures, thereby avoiding service disruption and loss.
  • Mobile Technician to assist at other sites when needed.
  • Perform all related tasks.
