Accountability: We own our actions and outcomes. We are currently seeking a Building Operator 2 to join our Plant Operations team. This is a “hands on” role maintaining stable environmental conditions throughout the Gallery for the preservation and safe storage of the collection. The incumbent will troubleshoot building related problems including, but not limited to electrical, architectural plumbing, life safety, elevator, Chiller Plant, Boiler Plant and respective auxiliary equipment throughout the building including exterior. They will ensure that all Plant equipment is operating at peak performance. Responsible for follow-up on various assigned scheduled, unscheduled, tenant &/or demand work order requests & client needs to ensure optimum client satisfaction. Responsible for escorting, monitoring and/or assisting contractors & specialty trades. Promote, encourage & support departmental initiatives to optimize efficiency, effectiveness & productivity. Promote, encourage & demonstrate safe working practices.
