Reporting to the Maintenance Services Coordinator, you play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for all users. You perform a variety of maintenance, snow removal, and material-handling tasks in support of the technical teams and the IRCM’s daily operations.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar position, particularly in building maintenance, carpentry, painting, or interior renovation.
Good stamina and physical fitness; ability to perform a variety of manual tasks.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in French.

Responsibilities

Clean and clear snow from entrances, sidewalks, and access points to ensure the safety of users.
Perform preventive maintenance and periodic inspections of facilities.
Carry out small- and medium-scale repairs involving drywall, plaster, and paint.
Install, repair, adjust, or replace various equipment, furniture, and accessories.
Perform simple drain unclogging (sinks, washbasins, showers, and toilets).
Assist with receiving, handling, and moving goods, or substitute for the staff responsible as needed.
Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and good condition of the IRCM’s buildings and outdoor areas.
Perform any other related tasks associated with the role.
