The position requires instructing subordinates, demonstrating proper work methods, and working alongside them to set the pace and quality of work. Additionally, the role involves inspecting buildings, structures, equipment, and facilities for needed repairs, estimating material and labor costs, requisitioning materials, and inspecting work in progress and upon completion. The Building Maintenance Worker II will also make oral and written reports of work completed by the crew and perform other related duties as assigned. Applicants must be available to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
