About The Position
Wilderness Resort is seeking a hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer service-driven Building Maintenance Technician. The position is responsible for the safety, maintenance, and repair of all buildings owned and operated by Wilderness Resort. This is a second-shift position with weekend availability.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver's License or the ability to obtain one.
- Must have an acceptable driving record.
- Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain assigned furnishings and equipment.
- Complete room work request forms, preventive maintenance sheets, telephone and VHS radio work requests, and resort guest requests.
- Conduct daily inspections of interior and exterior building components throughout the resort.
- Ensure repairs are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, electrical equipment, pneumatic equipment, Ving Card lock systems, fire alarm systems, cooling and refrigeration equipment, and related equipment.
- Maintain a daily work request log for room and common-area repairs.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Keep up to date on code requirements and changes, and receive and maintain certifications and other related training.
- Follow all policies outlined in the employee handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
