Building Maintenance Operations Supervisor (2 Vacancies)
About The Position
The Department of Environmental Services (DES), Facilities and Engineering Division seeks two Building Maintenance Operations Supervisors. These supervisors will report to the Facilities Maintenance Section Chief and manage a team responsible for building repair and maintenance services across over 80 County buildings. The team includes HVAC Mechanics, Building Engineers, Stationary Watch Engineers, and contracted service staff. The role involves overseeing the maintenance of critical sites, including two Data Centers and six radio sites. This includes the operation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, emergency power equipment, plumbing, computerized building automation systems, building envelope, and other related components.
Requirements

- Experience managing a team providing building repair and maintenance services.
- Experience overseeing maintenance of critical sites, including Data Centers and radio sites.
- Experience with operation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and emergency power equipment.
- Experience with plumbing, equipment, computerized building automation systems, and building envelope maintenance.
