Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical field in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Must have computer skills to communicate and process data.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and do work on aerial work platforms as needed.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with CMMS, L2L, Google Suite.
  • Prefer someone with experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical systems including materials and tools along with HVAC.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily route building maintenance projects and tasks.
  • Complete daily preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed in a timely manner.
  • Apply knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions applicable to maintenance work.
  • Assist in the construction, alteration, preparation, and painting and repair to floors, walls and concrete.
  • Maintain and repair building roofs, lockable hardware such as doors, automatic electric doors, windows, lockers and magnetic keying system to ensure safety of facilities.
  • Maintain and repair plumbing and heating fixtures and components, piping of various size and type, check safety equipment and replace components such as washers, gaskets and filters.
  • Respond to service requests.
  • Operate lifts and material handling equipment as needed.
  • Visually inspect and test items as needed.
  • Perform project work as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
