About The Position

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Building & Facilities Custodian to maintain a clean, orderly, and inviting environment throughout its residential community. The role ensures that the clubhouse, public areas, amenity facilities, and private residential homes are well-maintained, presentable, and meet members’ and guests’ expectations. The custodian works closely with Residential Services and Club Operations management to provide exceptional service and uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards. This is a full-time hourly role with starting pay of $21 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
At least 6 months of previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
Experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a high-end residential or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and best practices for cleanliness and hygiene.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to apply them at work.
Safety-conscious use of machinery and chemicals to avoid injury to oneself and others.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and remain calm and focused during busy periods.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, and move for more than eight hours and lift and carry items sometimes weighing more than 50 pounds.
Must be able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required due to business demands.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain the clubhouse, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and window cleaning.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
Keep hallways, the lobby, and other public and common areas clean and presentable.
Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and report damage or stains.
Respond to management requests for immediate cleaning or special cleaning projects.
Report maintenance or repair issues to appropriate personnel.
Follow established safety procedures and regulations.
Keep informed about industry practices and cleaning techniques to improve performance and efficiency.
Handle day-to-day laundering of pool, spa and salon, and fitness linen and terry.
Help maintain clubhouse, amenity facilities, and private residential homes to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
