Requirements

Strong knowledge of building erection techniques and practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
Ability to travel - typically in the state of WI
Ability to lift heavy objects (0-50lbs ground to shoulder, 0-80lbs ground to carry height)
Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, and bend for long periods of time while performing physical labor
Ability to operate hand/power tools and other equipment
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Lead and work with crew members performing building erection of pre-engineered and wood framed buildings
Install roofing, siding, insulation, and flashing
Coordinate with project team to plan and execute building erection projects
Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications and schedules
Communicate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as necessary
Assist Foreman with organization of the jobsite, subcontractors, equipment, and paperwork
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations
Train and mentor crew members on building erection techniques and best practices
Address any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
