Requirements

Scaffold hammer, 6” levels, 25’ tape measure, hand saw, pliers, #9 wire cutting pliers, 7/8 scaffold wrench. 7/8 open end, crescent wrench.
High school diploma preferred.
3 to 5 years of trade experience.
Basic plus.
TWIC card.
Ability to pass site specific training courses in English.

Responsibilities

Construct, erect, install, modified scaffold structures of wood and scaffold materials, using scaffold tools and some power tools when required.
Work at heights with no fear.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials to specified dimensions, using a ruler, pencil, hand tools, and power saws when required.
Determines type of scaffold needed and how to properly instruct on how to install.
Oversight of transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erecting the scaffold as instructed by OSHA specifications.
Properly secures and levels locking sections of scaffolding material.
Properly secures scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
Inspects and properly stows scaffolding material after dismantling.
Performs final inspection of completed scaffolding.
