About The Position

The Building Enclosure Associate Principal provides technical expertise and supports building enclosure staff across the Southeast Subsidiary. The position may be based at any established ECS location within the subsidiary. Building Envelope Commissioning experience is highly preferred. The role includes project oversight, technical report review, proposal preparation and review, business development, client relationship development, and leading and coaching junior staff at the regional level.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hold a senior reviewer or similar designation from a competitor firm.
• Be licensed or certified in at least one of the following: Professional Engineer (P.E.); Registered Architect (R.A.); an IIBEC credential (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, or CBECxP); or a University of Wisconsin–Madison BECxP or CxA+BE credential.

Nice To Haves

• Building Envelope Commissioning experience is highly preferred.
• A BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering is preferred.
