About The Position

The Building Enclosure Associate Principal provides technical expertise and supports building enclosure staff across the region. The role includes regional-level responsibilities, project oversight, technical report reviews, proposal preparation and review, business development, client relationship development, and coaching junior staff. Building Envelope Commissioning experience is highly preferred. The candidate may be based at any established ECS location within the Southeast Subsidiary.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hold a senior reviewer or similar designation from a competitor firm.
• Be licensed or certified in at least one of the following: Professional Engineer (P.E.); Registered Architect (R.A.); IIBEC RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, or CBECxP; or University of Wisconsin–Madison BECxP or CxA+BE.

Nice To Haves

• Building Envelope Commissioning experience is highly preferred.
• A BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support to building enclosure staff within the region.

• Support business development and assist staff in marketing services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
• Lead and coach junior staff members.
