About The Position

The Building Enclosure Associate Principal provides technical expertise and support to building enclosure staff across the Southeast Subsidiary. The role includes regional responsibilities such as overseeing projects, reviewing technical reports, preparing and reviewing proposals, and supporting business development by maintaining and developing client relationships. The Associate Principal also leads and coaches junior staff. Building Envelope Commissioning experience is highly preferred. The candidate may be based at any ECS established location within the Southeast Subsidiary.

Requirements

• 12 or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Hold senior reviewer or similar designation from a competitor firm.
• Be licensed or certified in at least one of the following: Professional Engineer (P.E.); Registered Architect (R.A.); an IIBEC credential (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, or CBECxP); or a University of Wisconsin–Madison credential (BECxP or CxA+BE).

Nice To Haves

• Building Envelope Commissioning experience is highly preferred.
• A BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities
