About The Position

This is an in-office position in Ballston Spa, NY. The primary responsibilities include utilizing computer estimating systems and related software to accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems. The role involves maintaining comprehensive estimating logs and unit costs for all projects, establishing and nurturing vendor relationships, conducting site surveys, and participating in pre-bid walkthroughs. Collaboration with sales and project management teams is essential to ensure projects are executed within budget and in alignment with plans and specifications.

Requirements

Associate's degree in business or engineering.
0-2 years of estimating experience in the HVAC industry with a proven track record is strongly recommended.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents.
Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and proficient computer skills.
