About The Position
The Building Automation Systems Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems using computer estimating systems and related software. This role involves maintaining estimating logs, establishing vendor relationships, conducting site surveys, and collaborating with sales and project management teams to ensure projects are executed within budget and according to specifications.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in business or engineering.
- 2-5 years of estimating experience in the HVAC industry with a proven track record.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents.
- Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and proficient computer skills.
