About The Position

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Building Automation Controls Service Technician to serve as a frontline technical expert for HVAC control architectures and Building Automation Systems (BAS) at commercial, industrial, and institutional sites. The technician will take ownership of sophisticated systems, provide high-priority diagnostic and repair service, deliver Technical Support Agreements (TSAs) to established procedural and quality standards, and train facility operators while developing lasting customer relationships.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on HVAC controls and/or building automation experience, or an associate degree / technical diploma in HVAC, Electronics, or Building Automation.
• Strong background in systems integration, electrical schematics, network protocols such as BACnet and Modbus, and mechanical HVAC operations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with Delta Controls, Tridium Niagara, or comparable direct digital control (DDC) systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in customer direct digital control (DDC) systems and HVAC controls through high-priority spot service.
• Execute Technical Support Agreements (TSAs) according to Setpoint's procedural and quality standards.
• Train facility operators and build enduring customer relationships.
