Builders / Stackers Day and Night Shifts
About The Position
This role involves operating equipment safely while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position requires attention to detail to ensure correct length, angle, heel, and backcut when building trusses. Builders/Stackers will use an iPad to monitor jobs and communicate with fork truck operators to obtain necessary lumber. The role also includes recognizing and troubleshooting errors, working with Maintenance to address them, and maintaining a clean machine and work area. Additionally, the ability to lift boards properly to avoid injury is essential, and the work is performed in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, effectively present information to others one-on-one.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols
- Experience working in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
- Must take and pass drug test
