Peoria Budtender
About The Position
JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Peoria location. The role is open to candidates with customer service experience, including experience in retail or food service; cannabis training is provided. Budtenders help patients and customers choose cannabis products, foster a welcoming dispensary environment, and keep the workspace clean and organized. The position offers a shared tip pool and opportunities for career growth. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks. The schedule is five days on, with eight-hour shifts and two days off. Open availability is required to work morning, mid, and closing shifts, as well as holidays. Employees must work at least 30 hours per week. Listed shifts are 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 11 a.m.–7 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.; the posting also notes El Mirage closing shifts of 3:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Requirements
- Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
- Open availability for morning and evening shifts and holidays, without schedule restraints.
- Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least eight hours daily.
- Comfort using a computer throughout the shift.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
- Ability to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Personal smartphone required; iPhone iOS 14 or later, or Android OS 4.4 or later.
- Must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.
