About The Position

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Budget and Planning (OBP), Operating Budget Division. The incumbent is responsible for providing a wide range of technical support as it relates to budget analysis and administration to budget analysts, departmental program managers, accountants, and other financial personnel. Duties include, but are not limited to: collecting, compiling, and consolidating data to support budget requests; analyzing and comparing supplemental budgetary data with previous budget submissions and existing reports to ensure accuracy and resolve issues; validating requests for correct financial attributes; processing financial documents to ensure accurate and timely certification and transaction processing; and collecting, compiling, and consolidating data to assist managers in initiating and expediting budget-related requests. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree or (2) two years of general work experience performing duties related to providing administrative, clerical and/or financial support.
  • If qualifying based on education, applicants must submit an official transcript that verifies a Bachelor's degree.
  • If applicable, your application package must include a U.S. evaluation of all foreign transcripts.
  • Acceptable foreign credential equivalency reports must be provided by organizations that have current membership with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services NACES) or the Association of International Credential Evaluators (AICE).

To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.
