About The Position

The Budget Analyst III plays a strategic role in guiding financial planning and resource allocation. This position requires effective communication skills, strong judgment making and critical thinking, and excellent attention to detail. It leads the analysis of complex financial data, evaluates budget performance, and identifies key variances to inform executive decision-making. By partnering with Division leadership, the Analyst ensures fiscal strategies align with organizational priorities and provides expert insight into forecasting, reporting, and long-term financial sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related area of study
• At least five (5) years of experience in an accounting or finance position
• At least three (3) years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, or related fields such as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheets
• Solid understanding of government regulations regarding budgeting and financial management
• Proficiency in financial and project management systems like PeopleSoft, Monday.com, PowerBi
