About The Position

As the Budget Analyst, you will work in an office-based setting located in Mt. Holly, Burlington County NJ. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for researching and analyzing budget variances on the monthly financial statements of the organization. You will also work on other projects as directed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Accounting or Finance
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in and strong knowledge of MS Excel, including multiple worksheet files
Proficient in word processing software
Detail oriented, strong organization and time management skills with experience in meeting deadlines
Experience managing multiple priorities with ability to make changes when needed
Experience working in a team environment
Prior budget, forecasting, and expense experience
Valid Driver's License required
Pre-employment drug screening
Cooperate with Oaks Integrated Care and The Department of Human Services in all inspections and investigations

Nice To Haves

Two (2) years’ experience working in accounting or financial forecasting skills
Knowledge of macros

Responsibilities

Provides analytical and reconciliation support in the preparation of budget modifications
Assist management in documenting and forecasting expenses
Proactively communicate and collaborate with all levels of management to analyze expenses
Participatory team member that shares knowledge and communicates analysis progress and issues as needed
Analyzes financial information, makes journal entries and determines the most effective means of handling accounting transactions
Participates in the preparation of financial statements and other accounting reports which accurately reflect the financial position of the agency
Prepares and updates annual budget templates
