About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting in the development of departmental budgets and Workday approvals. The role involves reviewing organizational and departmental budgets to ensure completeness and accuracy. The Budget Analyst demonstrates effective teamwork by interacting in a positive manner with colleagues and creating a collaborative work environment, and possesses a high attention to detail.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field
• Less than 1 year of finance experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office (High proficiency)
• Knowledge of Workday and Strata (Low proficiency)
• Strong communication skills, written & verbal (High proficiency)
• Attention to detail and accuracy (High proficiency)
• Strong organizational skills (Medium proficiency)
• Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

• Less than 1 year of healthcare finance experience

Responsibilities

• Participates with finance team to develop budgets, reporting and controls.
• Maintains Workday approvals for job changes including approved hours (FTEs) and job requisitions.
• Assists in error reporting for the Position Control report in Workday and provides feedback to managers throughout the organization.
• Assists in mapping new accounts and department codes in Strata.
• Helps with maintenance and analysis relating to the Manual of Financial Relationships and inter-institutional calculations.
• Performs ad-hoc requests regarding payroll/FTE and general ledger data.
