About The Position

AnaVation is seeking an Action Officer to support a U.S. Army program. This role provides essential financial management support to the Division Budget Lead in a customer-funded environment. The Action Officer will be responsible for the timely and accurate coordination of complex budget requirements, tracking financial instruments such as CADs, 7600s, MIPRs, obligations, and disbursements across numerous project lines. This position is critical for mitigating operational risks and ensuring the division's financial stability and mission execution.

Requirements

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • Working knowledge of Research, Development, Testing & Evaluation (RDTE), Operation and Maintenance, Army (OMA) & Other Procurement, Army (OPA) appropriations
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Government Accounting systems, for example, General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Financial Integrated Report Environment (FIRE), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS), Shared Data Warehouse (SDW), and Defense Travel Systems (DTS).
  • 3 years of budget planning and execution, and program management experience
  • 3 years of experience in requirements definition, work planning, budget control, and communications with COTR, COR, and other program officials
  • 3 years of experience planning, directing, and coordinating administrative activities and program control
  • Understanding of financial management laws & regulations
  • Knowledge of Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), 7600 Support Agreements, and incremental funding
  • Experience creating Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and obligations reimbursable and direct cite (PO), researching and reconcile Unliquidated obligations (ULOs)
  • Knowledge of Automated Time and Attendance Production System (ATAAPS) and Labor accountability
  • Must possess effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task across priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and organization skills
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interface with customers, division team members, and all levels of management
  • Must have strong experience working with financial data in Excel -- developing financial models and tracking financial data.
  • Proficient skills in other Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage various financial documents including CADs, 7600s, and MIPRs.
  • Track and report on obligations and disbursements across numerous branch-level project lines.
  • Assist the Division Budget Lead in coordinating complex financial requirements for customer-funded programs.
  • Provide redundancy and a "safety net" for mission-critical financial functions to prevent service gaps.
  • Liaise with branch leads and customers to ensure accurate funding data and support acquisition goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
