About The Position

This position supports the financial integrity of the department by reviewing funding activity, preparing budget materials, and assisting with financial analysis. As a Budget Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties: Funding Setup: Prepare job setup forms and coordinate with the Controller Office to ensure accurate establishment of codes. Budget Review: Examine budget estimates for accuracy and alignment with required procedures and policies. Data Analysis: Analyze financial information to support projections, reports, and decision making. Report Preparation: Develop and present financial reports to leadership on budget status and projected outcomes. System Entry: Enter budget requests into designated financial systems to support planning needs.

Requirements

  • One year of experience as a Budget Analyst I; or two years of experience in technical budget administration work, and a bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Able to perform essential job functions.
