About The Position

Lucas Tree Experts is hiring a Bucket Operator to perform utility line clearance arboriculture in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This is a full-time, year-round outdoor physical-labor position. Duties include manually removing vegetation from work areas, operating forestry equipment, and performing line clearance, pruning, and removals. Lucas Tree Experts provides paid hands-on training and educational courses, and employees may pursue industry licenses and certifications paid for by the company, with wage increases for each certification obtained. Requirements

• Experience operating a bucket truck.
• Must be able to work 45 hours weekly.
• Class B CDL required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various types of weather.
• Must be physically able to perform the position's requirements, including walking on uneven ground and carrying 75 pounds.
• Must be willing to work at varying heights.
• Must be willing and able to learn to operate a bucket truck and equipment safely.
• Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain licenses and certifications required for the position.
• Must successfully complete a post-offer physical and drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle check.
