The Unit Supervisor for the Florida Region BSA Unit supports the execution, coordination, and day-to-day oversight of the Bank’s BSA/AML transaction monitoring and regional BSA operational activities assigned to the Florida Region. The position is responsible for supervising the Florida Transaction Monitoring Team, which at present consists of two BSA Analysts, and ensuring timely assignment, review, follow-up, quality oversight, and escalation of transaction monitoring alerts and related BSA matters in accordance with applicable procedures, service-level expectations, and the Bank’s BSA/AML Compliance Program. The role provides direct supervision, guidance, coaching, workload coordination, and performance follow-up for the Florida Transaction Monitoring Team. The Unit Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day performance follow-up and execution of assigned work, including daily alert assignments, monitoring of production, review of in-progress alerts and investigations, quality feedback, production disruption tracking, and escalation of matters that may affect timeliness, backlog management, documentation quality, employee performance, or regulatory compliance expectations. In addition to transaction monitoring responsibilities, the Unit Supervisor coordinates and monitors certain regional BSA/AML operational activities, including account opening exceptions requiring BSA review, OPB quality review coordination, FIU requests for information, investigation second-level review, potential SAR referral escalation, quarterly quality metrics, and BSA reporting support. Matters involving SLA risk, potential backlog, employee relations, account opening exception recommendations, SAR-related escalation, or issues requiring BSA Officer determination must be escalated to the BSA Officer and applicable Corporate BSA/Compliance stakeholders, as appropriate.
