Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 years equivalent experience in a member service environment (financial services preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience, managing financial operations, regulatory compliance, personnel policies and support goals.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff to obtain results.
  • Proven experience in coaching, counseling, interpersonal conflict, directing, leading, planning, organizing, and implementation of performance goals.
  • Analytical skills include the ability to collect data, define problems, recognize impact, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to use appropriate investigative techniques to analyze information, determine liability, risk exposure, and mitigate financial losses and/or business interruptions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills; detail oriented.
  • Proficient in Word processing, Excel spreadsheets, Internet, and modification software Along with digital signing software, video conferencing and the ability to use online and digital resources to collaborate with others remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Administering the credit union’s Bank Secrecy Act program.
  • Serves as an in-house resource to provide general compliance advice and guidance to all Credit Union staff.
  • Performs monitoring and reporting in the area of Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, 314(a), and Customer Identification Program using industry standard and regulatory guidance to ensure compliance efforts are maintained on a daily basis.
  • Overseeing the identification, mitigation and resolution of fraud as it relates to member accounts and plastic card activity.
  • Provides leadership, and performs supervisory duties of assigned department staff.
