About The Position

The Brokerage Operations Specialist supports brokerage operations by executing licensing, compliance, and administrative processes to ensure agents meet all regulatory, MLS, and brokerage requirements. This role works closely with state brokers, compliance teams, and agents to manage office transitions, MLS coordination, and ongoing operational compliance. The Brokerage Operations Specialist helps maintain accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to brokerage and regulatory standards while supporting smooth operational workflows across offices.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of brokerage operations, real estate administration, compliance, or similar experience preferred
  • Knowledge of MLS systems, real estate boards, and brokerage processes preferred
  • Understanding of real estate licensing and regulatory requirements is a plus
  • Experience working with agents or in a real estate brokerage environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office transitions between LPT Realty offices (LptR to LptN and vice versa)
  • Oversee the transition of agents between offices ensuring accuracy and completion
  • Ensure all required documentation (listing agreements, listing transfers, and legal forms) are transferred to the appropriate state broker for signature
  • Notify state brokers as needed to ensure timely signing and processing
  • Ensure agents complete board and MLS registration within required timeframes
  • Proactively remind agents of MLS dues and assist with payment processes
  • Handle MLS compliance notices and coordinate listing maintenance across platforms
  • Create or request MLS team setups when permitted and ensure proper access for listing management
  • Notify agents of upcoming MLS dues and assist with payment coordination
  • Remove agents from LPT Realty (LptR) when dues are past due, prior to charges reaching the broker
  • Assist with communication regarding overdue balances and coordinate with board/MLS departments
  • Ensure compliance with State Real Estate Commission requirements
  • Provide administrative support related to licensing, compliance, and brokerage operations
  • Maintain accurate tracking of transitions, MLS status, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with internal teams to support operational consistency and process execution
