About The Position

True Benefit, an Amwins Group company, is seeking a Broker Relationship Consultant, Employee Benefits to support the ADP TotalSource Broker Channel in Southern California. True Benefit is an employee benefits consulting and healthcare underwriting program manager supporting a leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO) platform. We manage more than $2.3 billion in annual healthcare premium for over 150,000 insured employees nationwide. Success requires broker credibility, benefits funding knowledge, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence growth through relationships and expertise.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5 to 7 or more years of employee benefits, retail brokerage, carrier distribution, PEO consulting, or related experience.

  • Knowledge of fully insured and level-funded arrangements, with working knowledge of self-funded and other funding approaches.
  • Strong consultative, presentation, collaboration, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to influence results without direct authority or ownership of a traditional sales quota.
  • Active Life and Health license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Broker-facing experience as an Account Executive, Account Manager, Benefits Consultant, carrier representative, or similar professional.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with priority retail brokerage firms, benefits consultants, and producers.
  • Engage and educate producers within established firms on the ADP TotalSource value proposition.

  • Partner with ADP Broker District Managers and join the sales process when appropriate.
  • Support case strategy, opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and coordination with True Benefit underwriting.
  • Participate in broker, employer, and ADP meetings where benefits or PEO expertise can advance an opportunity.
  • Differentiate ADP TotalSource from fully insured, level-funded, self-funded, and other open-market options.
  • Share relevant market, competitive, healthcare, and broker-channel insights.
  • Translate technical benefits and underwriting concepts into practical guidance.
  • Partner with ADP retention teams on renewals and broker communication.
  • Coordinate with underwriting and True Benefit stakeholders to support sustainable growth.
  • Maintain consistent follow-through and represent True Benefit and Amwins at market events.
