About The Position

Sign Solutions is seeking RSLI British Sign Language interpreters to join its video team. The role provides BSL video interpretation for pre-booked and on-demand remote sessions, supporting corporate clients in the private and public sectors as well as individual Deaf clients. The position is contracted and may be full-time or part-time/job share, working out of hours Monday to Friday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Work is performed from home. Full 1:1 training will be provided.

Sign Solutions provides interpreting and translation services to the Deaf community across the UK. Its services include face-to-face and pre-booked video interpreting, Deaf Awareness Training, Access to Work support, BSL translations, and its on-demand video platform, InterpretersLive!. Requirements

• NRCPD registration.
• RSLI status.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Applicants must be UK residents and have permission to work in the UK by the start of employment.
• Hold or undertake a DBS check for roles within Sign Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Undertake on-demand and pre-booked video interpreting assignments.
• Deliver high-quality BSL/English interpreting services to all clients.
• Report to the Head Interpreter and Operations Team.
• Maintain continuing professional development (CPD).
• Abide by the NRCPD code of conduct.
• Work flexibly within the video interpreting team.
