About The Position
Ole Hansen and Sons is hiring for two full-time laborers for maintenance and repairs of the Margate Bride (Downbeach Express) property. Properties include the privately owned movable span toll bridge and 3 fixed bridges along with 2 miles of paved causeway leading from Northfield to Margate City, NJ. This position works out of a bridge maintenance yard including warehouse/shop on property.
Requirements
- Must have a valid active New Jersey Driver's License
- Qualified candidates must have practical experience in related construction trades
- Pass a Drug Screening and Background Check
- Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong Work Ethic
Nice To Haves
- Class B CDL License preferred or able to attain one within 90 days of job placement
- Welding and electrical experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Marine construction
- Concrete and asphalt repairs
- Minor structural steel repairs
- Minor electric and mechanical repairs
- Traffic control
- Snowplowing
- Operating and maintenance of company equipment including dump truck, backhoe, pickup trucks, work barges and skiffs and typical accessory construction equipment.
