About The Position

Nirvana is seeking talented, passionate, and personable Bridal Stylists to create customized hairstyles and elevated beauty experiences for brides. The role focuses on artistry, exceptional service, and providing a calming, personalized experience that helps each bride feel confident and beautiful. Stylists work with a diverse range of clients and collaborate with Nirvana’s bridal makeup artists and beauty team to create cohesive bridal looks.

The position includes styling for weddings, trials, engagement sessions, and other special events. Stylists consult with brides about their vision, personal style, dress, accessories, and wedding aesthetic, then create polished, long-lasting hairstyles suited to their features and designed to look beautiful in person and in photographs. Nirvana offers a flexible schedule and a highly competitive commission structure, with opportunities to grow a bridal clientele and develop within the team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional hairstyling experience, preferably with a strong background in bridal hair; emerging stylists with exceptional natural talent and a portfolio demonstrating potential are also encouraged to apply.
• A polished portfolio showcasing exceptional bridal and special-event styling.
• Experience creating varied bridal hairstyles, including polished updos, romantic styles, Hollywood waves, textured styles, and customized looks.
• A strong eye for balance, proportion, detail, and overall beauty.
• Ability to listen to a bride’s vision and translate it into a hairstyle that complements her features, dress, and wedding aesthetic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A warm, professional, and calming presence.
• Ability to make clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work efficiently in a wedding-day environment.
• Professionalism, reliability, and commitment to an elevated guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized bridal hairstyling for weddings, trials, engagement sessions, and other special events.
• Consult with brides to understand their vision, personal style, dress, accessories, and desired aesthetic.
• Create polished, long-lasting hairstyles designed to look beautiful in person and in photographs.
• Work with different hair types, lengths, textures, and extensions to achieve each bride’s desired look.
• Help brides select hairstyles that complement their features, gown, veil, and overall wedding-day vision.
• Create a calm, positive, and memorable experience during emotional and fast-paced wedding days.
• Collaborate with Nirvana’s bridal makeup artists and beauty team to create a cohesive, elevated bridal look.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and professional presentation.
• Build genuine relationships with clients and represent the Nirvana brand with warmth and professionalism.
