This position is responsible for performing basic functions in the brewhouse with supervision. It involves maintaining all quality and safety standards set for wort production at CANarchy facilities. The role requires understanding the general layout of the brewery and the location of raw materials. The operator will weigh and stage malt, hops, salts, and brewing aids, operate the mill effectively, and safely handle chemicals and pressurized equipment while wearing appropriate PPE. Accurate and immediate logging of information, general cleaning tasks, and maintaining an orderly workspace are also key responsibilities. The operator must inform coworkers and management of any problems immediately. Facility-specific duties may also be assigned.
