About The Position
Maui Brewing Co is seeking an experienced brewer to support brewhouse, cellar, and production activities in a fast-paced, high-volume brewery environment. This position requires strong operational awareness, attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and the capability to work independently while collaborating across departments to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
- Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment reference, and background check
- Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing/manufacturing setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a love for meeting and interacting with people
- Thorough attention to detail and desire to take initiative
- Must adhere to company’s policies and procedures
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with brewery production software such as Brewmaxx is a plus
Responsibilities
- Execute brews according to production schedules, recipes, and quality standards
- Perform wort production, transfers, yeast handling, dry hopping, filtration support, carbonation, and related cellar operations
- Operate and monitor brewhouse, cellar, and centrifuge equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform CIP and sanitation procedures in accordance with brewery SOPs and food safety standards
- Monitor fermentation activity and assist with troubleshooting process or equipment issues
- Support production changeovers, tank management, raw material handling, and inventory awareness
- Perform and record basic production and quality measurements using brewery lab and testing equipment
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and operational data within brewery software systems
- Follow quality assurance procedures and support product consistency initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and waste reduction
- Communicate production concerns, material needs, or scheduling issues proactively
- Collaborate with brewing, packaging, warehouse, maintenance, and quality teams
- Assist with training and supporting newer team members when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
- Support raw material staging, inventory movement, and general production support as required
