The Breathing Air Technician is responsible for in-house services and/or client turnarounds. This role involves monitoring low pressure and high-pressure breathing air, ensuring packs are current and not expired, and offering Rigup/Rig Up services in an industrial environment. The technician will also provide routine inspection and maintenance of breathing air regulators and reducers, as well as receipt, inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling, and testing of various SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) and other respiratory equipment and breathing air equipment in accordance with approved testing and service procedures. Additionally, the role includes completing thorough documentation of services rendered and equipment, stocking shelves with clean, tested equipment, and pulling, staging, and loading customer orders. The technician must maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform additional duties as assigned.
