About The Position

Corewell Health is offering up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus to external hires and internal new grads currently in a student role. This is a PART TIME-DAYS position with hours on TUESDAY, FRIDAY AND EVERY OTHER WEDNESDAY. The Farmington Hills Hospital, originally opened in 1965 as Botsford General Hospital, is now a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status. The scope of this role involves performing accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams under the guidance of a site designate leader, adhering to established policies and procedures. Technologists are expected to utilize appropriate imaging equipment, demonstrate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, and provide the best possible images for interpretation while following Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
• Minimal experience as gained at student level.
• Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible, paid at the trainee rate for up to 1 year.
• If unregistered must obtain at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) within 1 year from hire.
• Additional registry within two years from date of hire.
• If registered at hire additional registry must be obtained within 1 year from hire.
• CRT-Vascular Tech-ARDMS-within 1 year from hire for Vascular Department.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association.
