About The Position

Cancer Care Northwest, a premier multi-disciplinary cancer center in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a fellowship-trained breast surgeon to join their established practice in Spokane, Washington. Celebrating over 50 years of providing integrated cancer care, the practice offers a collaborative environment with over 30 providers, including medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, as well as specialized advanced practice providers. Spokane, Washington, is highlighted for its affordability, excellent schools, manageable traffic, and diverse recreational opportunities. Requirements

  • Fellowship trained breast surgeon.
  • Washington MD license upon appointment.
  • Completion of Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in clinic 2 days a week.
  • Perform surgery 2 days a week.
  • Utilize the 5th day for surgical, clinical catch-up, or administrative tasks.
  • Participate in weekly tumor boards.
  • Engage in clinical trial research opportunities.
  • Potentially teach at local medical schools and residencies.
