About The Position

Radiology Associates of Florida is seeking a Breast Radiologist to join their practice in Sarasota, Florida. This is a partnership-track position with a heavy concentration of Breast Imaging (>90%). The role involves full-service on-site care in a state-of-the-art Breast Health center at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, which is a premier health system in the region. The Breast Health service is a high-investment priority for the hospital partner, which has a new Cancer Institute and an adjacent Outpatient Pavilion under development that will be the flagship site for the Breast Imaging practice. The Breast Radiologists also support the new SMH – Venice hospital. The practice includes screening mammography (with a high penetration of tomosynthesis), diagnostic mammography and ultrasound, and breast MRI. They perform a wide range of breast interventions using stereo, ultrasound, and MRI. Breast Radiologists work as a team in the same physical footprint, supporting each other and functioning as central members of a multi-specialty team. They collaborate closely with referring surgeons, primary care physicians, and pathologists, participating in weekly clinical conferences. The workdays are Monday-Friday, 7 am-4 pm. An optional internal moonlighting program offers flexibility for those interested, allowing radiologists to work from home as much or as little as they prefer.
