About The Position

Orlando Health Cancer Institute (OHCI) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Breast Medical Oncologist with a strong interest in clinical research to enhance its breast cancer research program. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing the Institute's breast oncology research platform, contributing to outcomes and translational research, and identifying new opportunities within the breast clinical trials portfolio. Responsibilities include approximately two days of outpatient clinic, with dedicated protected time for conducting clinical trials (Phases I-III), including industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies. OHCI is a Commission on Cancer-accredited center with an NAPBC-accredited breast program, fostering a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to high-quality, personalized breast cancer care.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Medical Oncology
  • Completed an ACGME, or AOA-accredited Hem/Onc training program
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in clinical research/trials

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in strengthening the Institute’s breast oncology research platform.
  • Contribute to outcomes and translational research initiatives.
  • Work with institutional leadership to identify opportunities within the breast clinical trials portfolio.
  • Conduct clinical trials (phases I – III), including industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
  • Provide outpatient clinical care (at least two days per week).
