About The Position

Due to exciting growth, Carle Health is seeking an additional Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our established, elite Radiology department that has redesigned the Breast Imaging workflow for the 2026 market. This position offers a unique lifestyle with rotations of 2 weeks from home and 1 week on-site. The schedule is 100% Breast Imaging, with no call, no nights, no weekends, and no holidays. Physicians receive 10 weeks of vacation from Day 1. The role offers flexibility in location, allowing professionals to live in Chicago, Indianapolis, or St. Louis and commute for their "on" week, or to enjoy the "micro-urban" culture of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. The position also provides an opportunity for academic or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, particularly for those interested in the intersection of AI, engineering, and breast health.

Requirements

ABR Board Certified/Eligible.
Fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging OR extensive clinical experience in high-volume breast imaging.

Responsibilities

Perform 100% Breast Imaging.
Participate in a hybrid work model with 2 weeks remote and 1 week on-site rotations.
Collaborate with the Radiology department to support breast imaging workflow.
Engage in academic or research opportunities with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine if interested.
