About The Position

Circa 1886 and the Wentworth Mansion are seeking a Breakfast Server to provide guests of the Wentworth Mansion with a sit-down, fine-dining breakfast experience at Circa 1886. The ideal candidate is available from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for two to three shifts per week, including weekends and holidays, and is eager to uphold the Wentworth Mansion’s reputation for hospitality, service, and luxury.

Requirements

• Prior serving experience.
• Professional, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to stand for up to five hours per shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to work from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fine-dining atmosphere to guests of Wentworth Mansion during breakfast service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the preparation and ingredients of every menu selection.
• Use general knowledge of the Charleston area to assist guests with directions and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including dining rooms, patio, and bathrooms.
• Complete closing duties, including cleaning side work, polishing silver and glassware, completing closeout paperwork, resetting the dining room, and other duties as directed by the manager.
