About The Position
The Breakfast Server at Latitude, Black Desert Resort’s signature breakfast destination in Southern Utah, delivers exceptional guest service and a warm, welcoming dining experience during breakfast service. Reporting to the Latitude General Manager or Food & Beverage Manager, the role takes orders, serves food and beverages, and helps ensure a seamless meal for guests in a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. The position also supports pool service during peak seasons.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with POS systems and handling guest transactions.
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays based on resort operations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant.
- Knowledge of breakfast service, including coffee, tea, and morning cocktails.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and courteous service to guests during breakfast and brunch.
- Greet guests, present menus, and offer recommendations based on dietary preferences.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate special requests or modifications to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, with attention to detail and presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address needs or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining spaces.
- Assist with table setups, beverage refills, and delivery of additional items.
- Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to support smooth service.
- Follow health, safety, sanitation, and food-handling regulations.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings covering service expectations, daily specials, and operational updates.
- Support pool service during peak seasons.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
