About The Position

At Baci Ristorante, every dish tells a story—and as part of our culinary team, you help bring it to life. Located inside the C Hotel by Carmens, Baci is a modern Italian restaurant with a central wood-burning oven and an open-concept kitchen that puts your passion on display. No two mornings are exactly the same, and you’ll play an important role in setting the tone for the day’s service. This position offers the opportunity to build your skills in a supportive team setting, with a focus on efficiency, attention to detail, and strong time management during busy breakfast hours. Requirements

  • Experience with banquet, catering or high volume kitchen environments
  • Excellent knife skills and deep knowledge of cooking techniques
  • Safe Food Handler's Certificate (Required)
  • A passion for food and a drive to do your best every shift
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event based hours

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary Trade Certification or Read Seal (an asset)

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking breakfast menu items with accuracy, efficiency, and presentation in line with Baci’s standards
  • Performing opening duties and morning prep to ensure a smooth and timely service
  • Learning and mastering the details of our breakfast offerings to ensure consistency and quality
  • Minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of ingredients and supplies
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in all areas of the kitchen
  • Ensuring proper care, maintenance, and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and tools
  • Communicating effectively with the kitchen team to support smooth operations
  • Taking direction from the Director of Food & Beverage and supporting overall kitchen goals
  • Using sound judgment and leadership skills in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Contributing to a positive and respectful team culture while helping drive continual improvement
  • Playing a key role in creating extraordinary experiences for our guests—one breakfast at a time
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support the culinary team
