About The Position

The Breakfast Cook supports station assignments, maintains their station, and prepares hot and cold breakfast foods according to Food & Beverage department specifications. This position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager. It is a year-round role scheduled for four days per week. The hourly pay range is $21.00 to $25.00, with actual pay dependent on budget and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Understand basic cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Understand how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively.
Strong multitasking and time-management skills to ensure timely preparation and service.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy morning hours, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk, or remain on one's feet for extended periods.
Ability to work for extended periods in wet, hot, and humid conditions and walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, individually or with assistance.

Nice To Haves

Two years of food preparation experience.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Cook breakfast foods, including eggs and breakfast meats.
Set up the station and mise en place according to the chef's specifications.
Work at sauté, grill, and roasting stations as needed.
Help organize dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies, and food deliveries.
Set up, work, and break down the assigned station.
Maintain station cleanliness throughout the shift.
Submit production needs for the following day by the end of the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
