About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Breakfast Attendant at the 99-room La Quinta Inn & Suites in Round Rock, Texas. The role prepares, sets up, maintains, and cleans the hotel breakfast area to provide guests with a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable experience. The attendant keeps food and beverages properly stocked, helps breakfast service run smoothly, and provides friendly, attentive service. The position also supports organized operations through effective communication with team members and a clean, well-maintained workspace.

Requirements

Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Nice To Haves

General food and beverage knowledge, including at least one year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
A certificate may be required by state or local law upon completion of state-certified proper food-handling training.

Responsibilities

Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, dining area, coffee, beverages, and serving supplies before service begins.
Greet guests warmly, answer questions, assist with requests, and provide a friendly and welcoming breakfast experience.
Monitor and replenish food and beverages during breakfast service while maintaining an attractive and organized buffet.
Clear tables, clean and sanitize serving areas, and maintain a clean dining room throughout service.
Store and put away equipment, restock supplies, remove trash, and prepare the breakfast area for the next day.
