About The Position

The Breaker Line Operator 1 visually inspects eggs on the breaker line to ensure product quality meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements. The operator removes defective eggs before processing and works while standing on a raised platform. Routine cleaning duties help maintain a clean and safe work area. General hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

• Strong attention to detail during visual inspections.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect eggs on the conveyor line and remove eggs that are dirty, bloody, or leaking.
• Ensure defective eggs are removed before reaching the breaker or balance tanks.
• Communicate observed issues or needed machine adjustments to the Level 2 Operator.
• Assist with equipment setup during startup as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment.
• Prepare equipment and work areas for USDA inspection.
