About The Position

As a Break Pack Sorter, you will hand-sort reusable cardboard boxes by grade and help maintain a clean and safe work area. The role is based in Lakeland, Florida, and pays $17.00 per hour. The scheduled second shift runs Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Relogistics is part of a pallet management services company providing pallet solutions, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials. The position involves physical work in warehouse and storage-facility settings, including repetitive movement, handling materials, and working in varied environmental conditions. Personal protective equipment is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• High degree of attention to avoid safety incidents.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive bending, stooping, walking, turning, pivoting, and standing for entire shifts.
• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision.
• Use required personal protective equipment, including eye protection and safety shoes; ear protection is mandatory at several locations.

• Previous experience with warehouse labor, general labor, construction, material handling, or material moving.

Responsibilities

• Hand-stack cardboard boxes onto designated pallets to the appropriate height.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Check that finished pallets are properly secured before moving them.
• Move pallets and materials in crates around the storage facility.
• Assist with coordinating trailer moves.
• Accurately complete production paperwork.
• Provide regular updates directly to the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
• Maintain Relogistics efficiency and production standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
