About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Brazing & Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble fabricated metal parts using torches, induction heating equipment, and soldering irons. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of proven torch and brazing experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of brazing equipment, tools, and basic measuring instruments.
- Must be able to obtain all applicable company/job certifications upon hire.
- A strong commitment to quality, a team-player attitude, and a willingness to strictly follow safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform standard brazing and soldering on components to assemble fabricated metal parts.
- Utilize soldering irons, torches, and induction heating equipment daily.
- Read blueprints and follow detailed, step-by-step work instructions.
- Prepare materials by sizing, cleaning, buffing, and deburring tubes and parts.
- Manufacture braze rings and perform quality checks on braze joints for pinholes and incomplete fillets.
- Use precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers (with guidance).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
