About The Position

This Aerospace Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting production activities through the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components using a variety of tools, equipment, and machinery. The role includes completing production documentation, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and contributing to overall shop operations while upholding the high standards of the Alpine Aerotech brand.

Requirements

Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to generate high quality deliverables.
Strong time management and self-motivation.
Ability to build collaborative working relationships.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Mindset to work smarter, not harder.

Responsibilities

Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal including deburring, drilling, CNC/cold forming, riveting, dimpling, resistance welding, grinding, sanding, and blasting.
Operate machinery in support of production activities including press brakes, riveter/dimplers, resistance welders, pneumatic hand tools, etc.
Complete documentation, assign inventory, and allocate labour to work orders as required.
Perform various production and shop related activities.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Support additional tasks and projects as required.
Uphold the high standards that define the Alpine Aerotech brand.
